You’ll need to be aware of shipping add-ons for mail order items and also check to be sure the cell phone is a new one and not a reconditioned phone.
You can also visit your local cell phone service dealer, but generally, they are more interested in selling you the service plan than in the phone. Sometimes it will sound like the phone is very inexpensive, but it will be made up by a higher cost for the service plan or a longer duration.
One other important thing to remember when browsing cell phones for sale is the expertise of the sales clerk. Some of them understand and can answer your questions correctly, others know less than you do about cell phones. You’d be prudent to make sure your questions are answered either from the printed materials or as part of the contract you will sign.
